This is a pretty 16th Century, thatched pub, painted cream, and rose-clad in the summer. The pub is cosy and intimate with flagstone floors, beams, Inglenook fireplaces, slate-topped bars, polished copper, prints and oils. There are blue gingham curtains and tablecloths. The flower-filled conservatory has one huge oak table. Our country kitchen/dining room seats 30 people and is full of character. We have real ales and extensive wines, and offer imaginative food using fresh local produce.
